So this morning my breakfast was Clusters cereal with Innocent Hazelnut milk and a banana. As soon as I poured it I was like, "whoa, that's way too much." And I was right. Now though, I won't drink anymore Hazelnut milk for the rest of the day. It's my favourite cow's milk alternative, so I drink way too much of it.
During the day I need to just drink water and save sugar-free drinks for meal times. In the mornings when I eat cereal I don't need an extra drink with it. As the weather cools though, I'll probably be having more hot porridge in winter months. I know there's a huge full English breakfast meal that you can have for breakfast on SW, but I totally can't eat a meal that big for the start of my day. If I'm going to have a SW fry-up I prefer to have it as lunch or dinner.
I got a treadmill yesterday!
Please pardon the mess. We've recently had new flooring installed (which I love!) and our cat tore into his cat food bag. What a punk cat. Haha. Anyway, I'm going on the treadmill now whilst listening to the second audiobook in the Magic 2.0 series by Scott Meyer.
Spell or High Water. And I need to do toning exercises daily as well. Especially crunches for my abs. I might do an exercise routing blog post soon. For now I'll update what I actually accomplish one day at a time.
And lastly, here's my collection of headbands I keep in my receipt box.
I remember when I was a kid my mom had a collection of sweatbands and after workouts she used to throw them at us if we were annoying. Seriously though, the sweatband headbands I have are from Amazon and they can be used for many purposes. And by that I don't mean throwing them full of sweat at bratty kids, haha! I mean they can be used to cover ears in winter when cold, as well as for keeping sweat out of your eyes, or your hair out of your face. Which reminds me of another time my mom told me that as a kid I used to say "hair face" when I was two years old and I didn't appreciate the wind blowing my hair into my face as I'd swipe it away with a chubby little frustrated hand.
Sorry about all the reminiscing, I've been writing thusly of late though, and if you like it there's more of this style of writing from me in my 90s era story book for teens with a great long title: That Night Her Car Engine Lit on Fire; AND THEN SHE SHOT HEROIN INTO HER LEG.
